Every day is a new day
As yesterday gets further away
and tomorrow looks brighter then ever
with every breath I take.

Then the day ends and I lay myself to sleep
Wrestling with my dreams
As I listen to the sounds as a Raven sings

Through a random opening in my window
I lay awake to a flood of light
Revealing my life with no escape

Me, it is me that they are after
It is only me that can make it right

I take another drink from the bottle
And think "not tonight"

No escape, I can't run from me
