No Fear For Future Poem by Marck Riggins

No Fear For Future

No Fear For Future
Shall swim your veins
Catastrophic
Sky's Red rains

A hiding place
is long secured
Heaven's whispers
Faith assured

In massive stones
hope awaits
leads prey through
these Narrow Gates

Rock and sand,
desert den
Hides to house
Foe and friend

Away, away
from known life
Huddle saints
from the strife
That pursues
to each death
Stones beneath
Host their breath

Refuge walls beneath
Burnished plain, the sheath

Antiquity
lent by love
Makes a home
to hawk and dove

From the mountains
Classes flee
World Power's
killing spree

In the venue,
old, prepared
Seeker-hunters
vain pursuit

Lost the trail
to impale
Remnants saved
by Hope's tap-root

Mystery
for ages kept
From heart's blindness
Insight crept
Spite mind's illume
Had dead men
Chasing life
To living tomb

But death's hollows
Hands failed cease
Living poems
Lives at peace

Refuge walls beneath
Burnished plain, the sheath

Trails of wails
Desperate cries
Stopped silent
Neath red skies

Dwellers all,
in rock abide
Halls of Petra,
deep inside
Frames of dusted
dying men
Dwell as Godly
gloried friends

Now for light
and time await
Earth's caverns
hold their fate
Testament
to living wise
Salvation comes
In light-cracked skies
