No Greater Grace Poem by Ophelia Clark

No Greater Grace

Rating: 4.0

Follow the mazes of a ballerina
You'll find no greater grace on Earth
Her toes are fragile glass
Her hands, fluid as water
Changing, changing, changing with the waves of her motions
Her legs are powerful, yet dainty and soft
Like the petals of a flower
Her arms as stunning as eagle's wings
As they guide her where to fly, fly, fly
Her balance, matched be no other
Like a doll in a music box turning, turning, turning
Her lips are red as rubies
And every bit as rare
The sparkle, sparkle, sparkle in her eyes
Is as mysterious as the darkness
The mazes she dances with flawless perfection,
There is no great grace than that
