No! Liar (3)

We act so grand we speak so fine
Yet scoff and wink our eye
No one can fool this God of mine
Far better not to try

If you my friend are one of these
Take off your sad disguise
Divulge the truth upon your knees
Denounce to Christ your lies

Best think again before you lie
Before you grieve The Lord
For if today, in filth you die
You’ll feel The Judge’s sword

To some, your word seem true and just
Yet others know you well
But will you change your shroud of dust?
Or will you end in hell?

For who can trust the fools who lie?
The cheat who’s scales deceive?
On whom can Jesus now rely?
Which child can God believe?

God says the truth will open eyes
Set free of evil’s claws
I’ve seen the foolishness of lies
The torment they can cause

Of Satan’s filth I’ll have no part
His seed will take no root
Through Jesus’ Spirit in my heart
I’ll bear my God sweet fruit

I’ll be no more the devil’s whore
I’ll bow to shame, no knee
In truth I’ll enter Heaven’s door
Through Christ, The Living Key.
