No Life Poem by Laura Carie Dalton

No Life

Why does my family
Have no life?
Everything is consumed
With gymnastics.
Parents griping,
Kids whining.
We never get a break.
Our last vacation
Was the summer of 2006.
My mom never gets time
For herself.
It’s consumed
With gymnastics.
She breaths, eats, and sleeps
Gymnastics.
The coaches don’t respect her.
The kids don’t deserve her.
Her kids need her.

Think about it.
