No Lost Cause Poem by John Sensele

No Lost Cause

Rating: 5.0

No walls to close in on you
If you stay in faith
Imbibing from God the clue
To renew and rekindle your breath

Looking challenge in the eye
Wavering not, weeping not
Instead, standing firm to the lie
Your life success cannot

Obtain, maintain or retain
Cos by natural standards you're washed up
Knocked out for certain
Down on your knees, vulnerable like a pup

But forget not, succor in abundance
Lies next door in the prayer
God answers when spiritually you advance
Faith first, stronger than a sentimental strayer.
