No matter what you do you kill

No matter what you do you kill
You are not wrong my dear, Douglas Scotney,
Let me say you are all fine and side by side,
Let me request - let others stay in fine.
Here I am waiting to see what are happening
I know my waiting has got no meaning
In this modes of ignorance that are
Spreading all over and deluding all beings.
Let us know in between going and coming
Who are ours good company and
Let us try to discriminate proper and improper
What should be done and what should be refrained from.
No matter what you do you kill,
With your own conscience say not chill.

poet Edmund Spenser

My love is like to ice, and I to fire:
How comes it then that this her cold so great
Is not dissolved through my so hot desire,
But harder grows the more I her entreat?
