No More Bad Endings

It can't happen
not again
It's just so much to handle
Our relationship
isn't going well
Parents, Restrictions, School
leads to strain and arguments
sometimes breakup
No
That's what I say
I say
I'll try
I'll do my
best
to prevent it from happening
I don't do well with
stress
or losing people
I love
but I fear
that's what's happening
I'm losing
sweet loves caress
I don't know what I'll do if
I lose him
Especially not if
it wasn't my doing
that made him leave
I will fight not to
lose
this person
I love
this feeling
I have
of never being happier
No one has the right
to ruin what we have
except ourselves
but it won't happen
as long as he or I
can help it

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
