No Movement Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

No Movement

No movement

Life shall have no charm
And remain no warm
No sentiments
And sans attachment

Take it as dead body
With no movement to be noticed by anybody
Not to get up and make move
There is nothing to prove

So life is useless
Unless face
Some hardship and struggle
As feared by many people

You may earn some bread
Ti prove you are alive and not dead
Still capable of carrying load
And successfully walk on road

So seek no mercy
From anybody
But bow down
To make internal wishes known
