“no My Love …never Can I Love”

Rating: 5.0

Don’t know love, as they told it.
Romeo and Juliet sounded so great.
Am I a Paranoid to speak this loud?
My corpse lay afloat, the day she left
I gazed and gazed, but said no word.

Oh ….My love ….indeed I did love.
The tangled question remained in my mind
Did I Love …Or did I not.
Oh ….no, no …..I didn’t love.

Tried to cover the truth for long
The basic strength was not in me.
To be with her, close to her skin
To fill her heart with a bunch of flowers
To keep her close to my chest, till death
And to kiss her hand, was what I dreamed.
When she come close and stares into my eyes
I would stand struck like a thunder
My heart would pound and burn me under.

Those nights in my dreams,
The new Mughal Emperor had a Queen.
My friends and kins laughed their breath,
The funs and jokes then killed this king.

Those nights, my eyes sunk in the ocean.
No more ….no more, could I take by then.
But her face and voice filled my mind.
Afraid ….really afraid I was, of those near by.

I didn’t harvest a single Gold,
The seeds, I sowed, were not so deep.
“Traditions, criticisms, controversies…... and so on”
My brain couldn’t weigh all those things.
I was weak from inside my soul
Gone was she …..Far by then
So all I said was just a lie.
Oh …no, no….I didn’t love.
