No Name Road Poem by Nicole Arishenkoff

No Name Road

I walk alone down no name road A place where no on knows my name
The people who surround me are suffering with out a soul, they all fall to the ground, And there he stood before me he looks and smiles and sings

Pardon me you look familiar may I ask for your name
Close your eyes and then I will show you how it feels to be alive.

The stranger before me looked so sweet, promised all my suffering would be nothing but defeat
I closed my eyes and I could feel his smile he pulls me a little closer but all I could here him saying

Pardon me you look familiar may I ask for your name
Close your eyes and then I will show you how it feels to be alive.

He took my hand and pulled me away from my soulless body that is now left astray with all the other
And all I could here him whispering

Pardon me you look familiar may I ask for your name
Close your eyes and then I will show you how it feels to be alive.
