No One Came Poem by Ronald Strickland

No One Came

Rating: 3.0

Suppose the World gave a war
and no one came.
All the Battle Fields that would have been,
remained.
Would the need for peace over come
those who's need for control is insane.

Fearful we all shall live from those whom hold
power to harm and take freedom
from the ones that make this world a
place for power to gain.

The madness of that power over life
of others is such a shame.
Just a number is is our names,
but we are all not the same.

No matter matter if of a war and no one came,
the destruction would be the same.
Remember we lived and i remember
your true name.
