No One Cares Poem by David Darbyshire

No One Cares

Sitting on the sidewalk
Watching all the feet step past
Wondering were they flock
No one looks their moving to fast

If they would take time to notice
They would see I am in need
But they look the other way
And seem to pick up speed

Just to dropp a coin
That would help in such a big way
I do not want to enjoin
The hat is still empty to my dismay

I do not sit and cry
But I do tend to whine
I shouldn't really lye
Your money I will decline
