No One Comes Back Poem by Herbert Nehrlich

No One Comes Back

Rating: 5.0

I am a drifter, I am insane
came back from Heaven,
here to complain.
Had to clean hallways
polish the sky,
came back to bake you
an onion pie.
No one has ever
come back to yell
there is a clever
Devil in Hell.

Very nice Herbert! Had to read it twice, but cool none the less :)

HN, I hope to write something some day about The Devil Wears Tennis Shoes but was as usual very appreciative of your work 'No One Comes Back'. Bill Grace

I am sure I would have liked your Dad, Mary. And if you need help polishing, Todd and me will be our usual slaving selves. Best H

Very clever Herbert! But, I'd rather polish the sky in Heaven than the alternative! :) Sincerely, Mary
