No One Else But My God Poem by Joseph Blitch

No One Else But My God

Taking my watch with the sun sinking low.
Like fire, the sky flaming totally a glow.
Who could paint a sunset so gorgeous?
No one else but my God; Most Glorious!

Raindrops falling from a sky still so blue,
A double rainbow appears in radiant hue.
Who uses such beauty to promise forever?
No one else but my God; So very clever!

Nightfall doth come; darkness doth abound;
The presence of Angles felt all around.
Who gives them as a guide thru the night?
No one else but my God; A Guiding Light!

With wind and wave my ship was a toss;
One star glistens in the shape of a cross;
Whose voice can calm the mighty wind?
No one else but my God; A Great Friend!

With seas being calm; All trouble now past;
Praise and thanksgiving I do now broadcast.
Who has bottled my each and every tear?
No one else but my God; The Caring Ear!

Our salvation paid for with extreme cost;
Who gave His Son's life for a world lost?
No one else but my God; Praise His Name;
JAH; The God worthy of Heavenly fame!

Reminded at the dawn; Jesus The Risen Son!
Through whose Love a life's crown was won.
The God of Abraham; Isaac and Jacob is He!
Now that's my God; No one else ever shall be!
