No One Is Sure Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

No One Is Sure

No one is sure

Even though Africa is rising
Its growth is not surprising
Somewhere freedom is strangulated
And people are mercilessly killed

The fraction war is on
The natural wealth has gone
Into the hands of dictators
And crime perpetrators

People watch at sky
And ask why
Such thing is written on their fate
The answer is coming very late

People are worried
Peace is not hurried
Their fate is hung not in balance
The peace is only chance

The past might have remained glorious
The old saying also seems famous
But what of today
There is no other way

The past may remain past
That has conveniently lasted
But tomorrow threatens future
No one is sure

No One Is Sure
