No One Owns The Land Poem by Tony Adah

No One Owns The Land

And so death took a man
With vast expanse of land
Still without a home, a nomad without herds
A fugitive in his own land
On this day those victors will celebrate
On that day too their six feet deep is waiting
When the final judge shall rule
That the land belongs to all.
