No One There Poem by Summer Huggins

No One There

I'm lost,
I'm broken,
I hurt,
I cry,
I scream,
The voices don't stop,
The illusions are evil,
Can you see?
Do you notice?
Finding my way,
Dreaming of the moon,
Wish for help,
No one there,
Smiles that aren't real,
This was the past,
New beginnings,
Happiness creeping its way in,
Opening my eyes, and realizing,
Travel the past,
Unearthing the discovery forgotten long ago,
Trust building a foundation,
Love warming the body,
The present is such a gift.
