No Other Love Poem by Dolores Parsons

No Other Love

The stars shine a little brighter in the heavens up above,
But here on earth it's a cold lonely place without you here to love!
And the thought of living life without you sends a chill straight to my heart!

But, even though you're gone, I know, we will never be apart!
For whenever I feel the rain on my face,
I'll remeber the tears that we've shared,
The rays of the sun, your warm embrace,
Reminding me of the way you cared!

The sound of your laughter, the beat of your heart,
The smile that would light up your face!
They're my most precious possesions,
My greatest gifts from god,
And can never be replaced!

So I want to thank the Lord for 'gifting' me
With a love so rare and true,
For I know that I shall never love another,
The way that I love you!
