Plague Rose
No Slave
People tell me
All the time
To be this way
That way
Well that's not fine
‘Cause I'm just me
And I'll say the taboo
No matter what you think
I am no slave to you
So I'm not like most people
Well what did you expect?
Your commands to me
Are undeniably feeble
And it's not my dream
To be "politically correct"
I am me and no-one else
If that bothers you
Well you can just go to hell
The standards they say
Really aren't that high
But for a country
That's had better days
The standards are just not right
So listen to me
Hear what I say
Like a solitary cat
I am no slave
So you can keep your rules
They're absurd to me
You're all just a bunch of fools
I'm gonna be free
And do only what I want
And only what I say
And live my life as any rebel may
So just try and stop me
You won't get far
So while you're all stuck
Here in your violent rut
I'm gonna live my life
Looking to the stars
And the sun and moon
Are here by my side
But what do you have?
Guns, drugs, and alcohol?
I'm guessing that you're all blind
To think that something like this
Could ever be good
Mother earth is running out of time
And we would stop it if we could
The fault is yours
You are to blame
And our poor planet
Will never be the same
I suppose that's what makes me
So different from everybody
I hate people that think
Their on top of the world
When all they're doing
Is causing a chaotic whirl
Of smoke and smog
Clouding our view
Making us think
They're someone to look up to
I'm not like that
And I'll never be
If you have a problem
Then why are you even listening to me
I'm gonna be different
I'm only gonna be me
And while you people
Wreck this world
I'm gonna keep
To the words I said so true
No matter what you may believe
I am no slave to you

Is this for parents? ...if yes, I say parents knows best, they are just go over our future and they just want us to fix our self in this dynamic society before they gone. but, sometimes we feel like they are forcing us to take what we don't like that cause us to think were slaves, when in fact not. You're not be consider as rebel if you resist what you do not want but you'll become a rebel if you will do unnecessary deeds just to show you hate them...well I hope you will find love to your parents...
To the words I said so true. thanks.
