(after John Donne)
No winter will destroy the coming spring,
between you and me
and the feelings that are rising
come with raging passion and with dignity
and gently flowers unfold on every branch,
while birds are singing,
there is something deep in every glance
in every small token that you are bringing
and those who laugh at love poetry,
do not dwell deeper still,
in the words see only you and me,
do not know love as we do and will:
To me you are the one that love affords
the one I have to praise in all my words.
