Noble Spasms Poem by John Weber

Noble Spasms

Rating: 5.0

As the body awakens
from the lure of slumber,
involuntary reactions
send limbs akimbo,
often with results
hilarious and violent
to rebuff once dormant
instincts of preservation.

A giggle escapes
within the thrill
of righteous struggle
as armies of cells
fill the whole with
magnetically-charged
gusts of lifting ether
levitating souls onward.
