I am in love with you can't you see?
I really do hope that you notice me.
With thousands of people surrounding you everyday,
It's me who's been thinking about you come what may.

I'd really like to meet you, my dear
But all these things prevent me from getting near.
And I just want you to see,
I really am in love with thee.

You brighten up any room you are in,
And make everybody grin.
You're like sunshine on a gloomy day,
And make everyone's problems go away.

I know that there are many people like me,
But I really do hope that you notice me...
