Nobody Else Poem by Nsisong Bassey

Nobody Else

Rating: 4.5

There is nobody else here,
So it seems,
The room looks vacant
The space appears untouched
I am tempted
To undress,
To visit forbidden places,
To touch the sacred things,
It is a trap
I know,
I can smell your essence,
I can sense that you are near,
Waiting for me to
Stumble,
Then you will dash out
and say
I caught you!

Another lovely poem. It was a trap that caught the one who had set it up...
