Nocturnal Embrace Poem by June FeirCruz

Nocturnal Embrace

Rating: 5.0

Your arms enfold me
And I am locked in your embrace
Restless nights, restless dreams
Till dawn came.

I tried to see your face in the dark
Tried to listen to the beating of your heart
You look so peaceful in your repose
And me, I am lost in search of me.

A little twist in the tail here I think! In the closeness of a night embrace there is still a part that is alone, looking inwards, occupied with one's own thoughts and feelings. Thought-provoking.
