Nonsense
It's nonsense to write a poem
and have it sound like prose.
It has no lyrical swing to it
and every listener knows
that a poem that's special
has rhythm and rhyme.
That's never changed
and repeats in time.
If you can't get the feel
then you'll probably seal
the eyelids of your audience closed.
And when you are done
you'll find every last one
snoring because they've been prosed.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
