North Wind Poem by Abdul Wahab

North Wind

Rating: 4.5

The more I rise the more I feel loneliness
More rootless I become, being afloat
I face more fatal blizzard, witness
Cold shoulders, atmosphere is heavy
Unbearable is the weight
Of the unspoken pain
No one by my side
To take care of my words
Layers after layers
Pressed together with a nail
In the chest, tight
Till the time, I inhale
The fragrance of the promise
Of your presence as North Wind

a poem of lonliness. I feel the north wind chill in the air. No one by my side to take care of my words, A friend would be reassuring.
