Nose Job Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Nose Job

Reminiscent from years of old…
A well sculpted olfactory sensor
Passed down from generations
A marvelous fragrance detector

Now it seems that by comparison
It is perhaps too long or too wide
Criticism says it is less than pleasing
Critical analysis causes you to hide

To be accepted in the spectrum
Of social correctness and attractiveness
Proper definition must be selected…
Avoiding tongue wagging abrasiveness

With confidence and new assurance
A walk down the avenue is a treat
There are no glaring glances today
Only upbeat smiles from those you meet

Now it seems that with observation
It is becoming evident and clear
Heritage of the restructured appears
To give approval in the mirror

I find it always interesting to discover what topic you will be featuring. This is a timely topic, but I suspect that you have been indulging in geneology as well. I am glad things turned out so well with the nose job. Very nicely written.
