Not A Few Poem by Liilia Talts Morrison

Not A Few

I've been granted blessings
not a few
challenges to conquer
and subdue

Troubles came a'knocking
not a few
angels soon appearing
them to shoo

In the midnight darkness
ghosts subdue
with the sword of prayer
piercing through

May I wake each morning
with the dew
recommit my journey
faith renew

Blessings I've been granted
not a few
challenges to conquer
and subdue.

The poem has come to us like a breeze of fresh morning air with great metaphors. Thanks for sharing the poem: A quote: In the midnight darkness / ghosts subdue / with the sword of prayer / piercing through

We all have been given more than a few blessings. Despite our challenges, we must be thankful. Thanks for sharing, Lillia. Peace
