Not A Guarantee Of Your Safety Poem by Ace Of Black Hearts

Not A Guarantee Of Your Safety

If you assume I am of sound mind.
I can't guarantee your safety full time.
Occasionally I do go off the deep end.
Taking you to places of the sick and depraved.
Because there is no limitations.
No locked gates.
No rubber walls to keep me in.
No strapped vest to force me to keep my hands to myself.
I am both the patient and the therapist.

Interesting and thought provoking words. This can be any one of us particularly with the high demands of just living.

Sometimes I wonder who should be lying on the couch. Novel twist in your poem, we are both patient and therapist to our self, or selves.
