Not Another Chance Poem by Aanuoluwa Adebanjo

Not Another Chance

Not Another Chance
Broken and shattered
Pierced and stabbed
Forsaken and forgotten
Have i been for so long
So long a time
I tried to be peaceful
And ended up being underrated
I chose faith
And doubts crept in
I gave love
And didnt get it in return
The only thing that was left
Is a glimpse of hope
That i kept for years in my heart
And it brighten up each day
And glowed each night
And that has been my reason for existence
And i would not give yet another chance
For that ray of hope to be taken

Lucid use of language. Still, it was straight and concise.
