Not Done Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Well all said but not done
You said it all when I had already gone
You promised no word and I felt desperate
Nothing else was left for me to relate

I was dumb founded and nearly broken
You had no time to offer me love as token
I had no place to go and try
I was choked emotionally and wanted to cry

It was a wild goose chase
I had terrible feeling with bad phase
I was damned from all the sides
I had no one to bank on and confide

It is one of the crucial tests
It all depends on the outcome of the best
I expect the good will of yours
You never intended to think and care

I know you inclined so much
but had feeling as such
I am nearly broken
Life is in pieces and has nearly gone

I am not sure of my come back
I am unsure of any path or track
I won’t stop until I reach
With The destiny and goals each

The world is not hostile
They have remained same meanwhile
We got to understand the trend and flow
Else it may deliver the blow

You may go into pieces
If you have no good wishes
You need support and blessings
Else it will amount as fishing in troubled waters
