Not For Naught Poem by Rose Falcone

Not For Naught

Rating: 5.0

Abandoned and foresaken
The answer abundantly clear
The asking was mistaken
Lest we ask in fear

Heart so shattered, again
This sojourn the last time
I’ve lived so long with pain
Love can be a crime

No, love is not for naught
Love shows us who we are
A search of self is sought
The lesson lies within the scar
