Not Just Sundays (1)

We say we’re saved in Jesus’ name
Set free from death and hell
Yet wayward we lives live the same
Believing all is well

There must be change from inside out
We can’t remain in sin
That what salvation’s all about
Why Jesus dwells within

We can’t have Satan’s filth inside
In Christ we must be clean
We must become a loyal bride
In truth a righteous queen

How can we say in Christ we’re saved?
Without The Father’s Seal
How can we live a life depraved?
Doing just as we feel

Each wayward thought each shameful deed
Prove well not all is fine
Infected with the devil’s weed
We’re drunk from rancid wine

The pounding from each cancerous thought
Distortion of the soul
Objection of The True Report
Will fail to make us whole

Salvation’s not a Sunday thing
Whiling within a pew
A sermon heard the hymns we sing
The thought we’re born anew

Unless God’s Fire consumes the chaff
We’ll sing the devil’s song
We’ll hear his evil shallow laugh
Whilst him we still belong…PTO
