'Not Mine' Poem by Elena Sandu

'Not Mine'

Rating: 5.0

If we would swap our places
we would need to swap hearts too
not many differences
but the ones we love in truth.

Would I find me in your heart?
I know you'll find you in mine.
To love all that I do, could you?
or would you change me by such type:

Love everything that's stuck to 'mine'
Like 'my family my country, or my house'
And anything that can't be touched
To always be left, kept, outside:
(please see the title)

....(I know one day we will think different, instead of me and mine, all would be about us and ours)
