Not Often Poem by karan baadkar

Not Often

No more than 2 sentences to write
when there are thoughts a million
I am a closed book you open
not often, not often.

Each word spoken, unspoken,
Will leave you perplexed with yet another unanswered question
You build castles on loose sand
They stand, Not often, not often.

A dropp of tear hidden
Behind it lies a ocean
You dare to swim your way out
You survive, Not often, not often.

Digging a grave for someone
yet forgetting you are standing on your own
Life makes you learn from past mistakes
but you learn, not often, not often.

The bitter truth is death itself
yet you put a mask of hatred on
Learn to love for life comes just once
Opportunities too are provided, not often, not often.
