Not Perfect
Perfect has no childhood
Perfect does not age
Perfect is frozen in photograph
And perfect knows no pain.
Perfect has no family
She has no darkened past
No complicated history
No shadow she can cast
Perfect has no concept
No memories to recall
No state of mind or tears to cry
No rise and no downfall.
But what strikes me most;
is how she's not perfect
Not even a little bit
Not even at all.
