Not Quite Strangers Poem by Jon M. Nelson

Not Quite Strangers

Although we’ve never met, I know that you do care.
Although we’ve never spoke, there are secrets that we share.
I’ve never held your hand, but I sense your gentle touch.
Strangers we are, but now not quite as much.
I’ve never looked into your eyes, but I see the light.
I’ve never seen your smile, but I’m sure it shines so bright.
I feel the joyfulness, although I’ve never heard your laughter.
Almost like a fairytale, Happy ever after.
