Not Suicide Poem by Em Jay Christian

Not Suicide

Anger, pain, and pity,
All this heartbreak in my head.
Scars, and scars, and scars,
I think I may as well be dead.

Lies, and tears, and longing,
Act like I just happened to you.
Pain, and pain, and pain,
Babe, we may as well be through.

Hope, and love, and smiles,
My tears they fell so blue.
Complex, and complex, and God Complex,
I guess I may as well be you.

Regret, reflection, cold remourse,
No longer in your debt.
Sick, and sick, and angry sick,
But it's not suicide just yet.
