Not The American Way! Poem by Sandra Feldman

Not The American Way!

Rating: 5.0

Blessed be he and they
Who do not cast the first stone
Who are tolerant and well born
For what we are living today
In the USA,
Is DISGRACEFUL,
Even more than one can say
And certainly NOT,
The American Way,
Persecuting people for
What they believe or say!
Absolutely NOT!
The American Way.

Our ancestors came here for freedom
Later so did persecuted and misery ridden
Europeans, and other nationals too
And you, miserable lefty bigots
Persecute and attack people physically
And with horrible insults
Just because they disagree with you
Or embrace other ideas.
You are all an apocalyptical disgrace
Where are we, who are you?
Antidemocratic Dictators?
That force us to obey and stay
In a Desert, where never
The wind of Liberty BLEW! ! ! .
And free speech and Democracy
Were violently smashed away.
Before Anyone could say, STOP!
You are cursing and destroying
Our COUNTRY, TODAY! !

This is NOT!
How the United States of America
Wants to be run or controlle1d
Poor Latin America harbors coward's
Of these same criminal folds
And sends them to us,
Approved and harbored
In sanctuary cities by those
That want their votes.

Beware and do not follow
The crazy lefty fox,
Many will pay,
If liberty you mock
And you'll never get
Your Self-respect
Your Liberty
Nor your Country back!

Sandra, this is very powerful and well-written. I am not living in America, so I only know what I see on news reports. We’re living in turbulent times. History repeats itself; no-one in a leadership position remains innocent. For my part, in order to be on the side of peace, I choose to be neutral in politics. Take heart, justice and peace WILL come.
