Not The Same Never Again

don't call me
don't ask me
how I am after you've taken your love away
because I'm not happy
I'm not smiling
no I'm not the woman I used to be
I wish you were faceless
wish your voice wasn't so familiar
wish you still didn't remind me of home
I didn't have much of a happy one
but your embrace suited me well
still remember the day you took it all away
packed your shit which isn't much and told me
'we can't go on this way.'
went along and took my heart with you
although you weren't coming back
never felt empty like this before
never in my life
it's the darkest feeling to have
and you gave it without one look back
people have their opinions
put your heart back together and find someone better
but in my eyes there is no one
which is something they will never understand
you gave me this feeling
a feeling no one can comprehend
told me not to find you
I wish I could just find myself

poet Pablo Neruda

I want you to know
one thing.

You know how this is:
if I look
at the crystal moon, at the red branch
of the slow autumn at my window,
if I touch
