Nothing Lasts Forever Poem by Antoinette Valentine

Nothing Lasts Forever

Rating: 4.5

Nothing lasts forever
Life's passing me by right now
Seconds turn to minutes
Present turns to past
Days become weeks
Months become years
Love becomes hate
Children turn into adults
Night fades into mornings

Nothing lasts forever
Everything's just flying right on by
Stop counting down the minutes
Keep looking towards the furture
Remember each day is a gift
Don't worry about the years ahead
Live for love not hate
Your a child at heart
Wait for the sunshine in the dark
