I have loved you for so long
But I can never tell you how I feel
You are one of my best friends
I imagine what could become of us
One day we could form a relationship
That would last a lifetime
We would be together forever
And nothing could tear us apart
But these are only dreams
Never to become realities
I crave for your love in return
But I know you don’t feel that way about me
I know we can be nothing more than friends
