The November breeze carries whispers to my love Like the gentle snowflakes, they caress and kiss
Glancing across the street, he mimes “I love you” echoes of his love bounce off walls and windows
Lips twitch and our smiles light up like neon signs He dodges traffic, I shake my head, a boy he is
Hands encircle my waist and round we whirl Close my eyes to people and happy laughter.
He makes me giggle and blush, he makes me happy, emotions stir, as I run my fingers through his hair.
Clutching hands in perfumed night air, I hear his sigh on the silence of Love's shawl, and draw him closer
Fragile Snowdrops bloom, in clusters they sway, dancing to our favourite music, which softly he whistles
Our footsteps crunch on the gravel as we slowly walk The park quiet now- ducks sleep and birds roost
A silver Moon lights our way as homeward we go The November breeze sings of “another tomorrow”
He hears it too, looks down at me, eyes twin stars Hands drawn deeper into his pocket, brisker his step.
