He'll never be mine

He won't call me beautiful
Or play with my hair
He won't comment my myspace
He just doesnt care

He loves all his friends
Preppy or not
He talks to them too
But I'm just a thought

Hes got a best friend
And tells her he loves her
But I'm just the girl
Who he i.m.s and smothers

Not in kisses but in hugs
I want to to be that girl
Not an outcast in the rain
But his only special pearl

I dont think he notices me
Though we've been friends since 5th grade
I think he's got his mind on other girls
I'm a shadow starting to fade

If we've done right
We could be together
Not for never, not for always
But forever

O gosh..ill never have him
