Now We Find Too Much To See Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Now We Find Too Much To See

The best condition I can condone,
Is to be done with 'us'.
And leave you alone.

No longer can I find understanding not there.
Or point out faults...
When my own are clearly there.

The best condition I can condone,
Is to be done with 'us'.
And leave you alone.

Neither one of us is perfect.
And I admit I know I'm not.
I'd rather quit than argue,
About who has been faithful.
Both of us have dipped and dabbed a lot.

No longer can I find understanding not there.
Or point out faults...
When my own are clearly there.

Remember when the love we had for each other,
Was blind?
Now we find too much to see.
