Numberless Poem by Ruby Honeytip

Numberless

Rating: 5.0

I have no problem understanding
The concept of being numberless to you,
You can forget me,
But I'm still around.
I did not disappear
From the world you filled
For me.
I have...
The same giggle
The same remorse.
I have not changed
From the day you thought
Me perfect.

And yet....
You are gone.

LOVE this one. Get out of my head. Or stay, because that's what good writers do. Express relatable thoughts very well. Thanks for sharing. I did not disappear From the world you filled For me. I have not changed From the day you thought Me perfect. Those are my favorite lines.

Passions boil... passions cool... good expression, though sad... Terry

In a few lines, you have depicted the unexpected cooling down of a warm relationship! Your stoic acceptance of it makes the poem specially charming! Thanks for this great share! !
