Look at the sky
Look at those beautiful stars
Look at the moon
and see how gloriously it shines
My lord is so great
and he is a maestro
who can beautifully
compose the rhythm of the world
The song of waterfalls
and the roaring of the seas
the tweets of the birds
no one not even beethoven
can compose so beautifully.
for he is the master
the king and the creator of the world.
very nice....i love this poem..its short and nice..a poem for God.
Your entry into the scene is made noticeable by the quality of your poems! Your style is indeed remarkable for your young age! Yes the one who created so much beauty around us is the Master Craftsman and we stand in awe of Him! Great poem, Amrutha! Keep writing! Wish you all the best!
Oh my lord! Thou art great. I like your punch lines, Amrutha.

Did you know that philosophers developed five basic arguments to prove the existence of God? One is called the Argument of Design: it basically says the beauties and the wonders of nature could not have just happened; an intelligent designer had to make them. That's rather dry and cerebral. Your poem accomplishes this argument with color and enthusiasm! You evoke both sights and sounds in nature. I especially like the ocean roar followed by a bird's tweet; it makes me realize the thousands of sounds in between the loud ocean and the soft bird call. It's interesting that you use Beethoven as a point of reference because his music is cosmic in scope to many music lovers, certainly I include myself. Someday you should read this poem in a church during the service. A writer once said, A miracle is any event which increases your faith. And a poem of faith could be such an event.
