My Tusu,
Where lie You,
O, Tusu,
My Tusu,
The small girls keep singing
With a small statue of Goddess Tusu
The Folk Goddess
Symbolizing Lakshmi,
The harvest of the crops and the offering of rice
To Her,
The rustic women folks singing,
Singing songs in praise of Tusu,
O, Tusu,
My Tusu,
Where have You gone,
Every night
With the deity in the homes
From one month before
The immersion of it
Into the pond waters or the river!
