Salutations to thee!
Oh my near and dear brother
We have not seen god
But we have your god-like personality

You have not breached your self-imposed diktat
To forebear, to ungrudge blow, to show infinite patience
This is the secret to your benediction and not any fluke.

You have decided not to topple, not to tear, not to inflict pain
You have the certitude such titiksha pays in the long run
You are like Ramakrishna who scorned the life of a renunciate
at Vrindavan to his mother instead
Your urgency is an “urgent goodness” and not liberation
You are earning your liberation by such good deeds

For you love is god
When despair is the easiest choice
You still give room to hope

Your music sails you through
The vicissitudes of life
Your reverence at the feet of Mother and Aurobindo
Has ensured a life of illumination, wideness and effulgence

May the divine shower his bounties of love on your life
May your life be for others to emulate
